I'm not convinced. You can still get plenty in the back of a V50 (if you have the rear seats down!).
A farmhouse table and chairs went in ok. And for lugging two dogs, the wife and a six man tent with all the gear it does pretty well for my needs. I will admit. The p2 V70 I had took a lot more, including 2 dumpy bags of logs... still pulled like a train.
