rear hub removal help needed
I'm removing the right rear hub assembly from my Volvo XC90, but came up against a brick wall, the last of the 4 (15mm bolts) holding the wheel hub assembly is in disarray , the head of the bolt is broken off from I imagine from a previous owner. I attempted to drill out and use an 'easy out to remove the bolt, but it broke off inside the bolt. I removed the shock and spring to give room for a drill. The only option
I can see at this point is grinding off the small portion of the head washer remaining, but will that release the hub assembly? Any advice would be appreciated.... Last edited by GWDvolvo; Jul 29th, 2014 at 03:50. |
