  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Hi all just a heads up if your after some Liquid Moly 0W-30
Special Tec V. Andrew Page have just quoted me £20 plus vat
for 5 litres.. Which I think is a bargain if anyones interested?

so not the best oil out there at all.

It doesn't say it's for VW vehicles? The V part of the name is for Volvo.


And where did I say it was the best oil out there? I was just passing on
something I thought might be of interest to others.

WE are all interested in good deals.
Well, lots of us are anyway.
I shall try to be more positive in future.
Right now very cheesed off with cut-price oil supplier as my Euro cAr parts are cr@p thread

I dont give a **** what volvo thinks ;-) but 0w30 is crap in my view anyway regardless of producer

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I have just found out that I need a new turbo in my 2009 D5 185 S80, the Volvo tech has told me that the most probable cause of the failure is because I don't use the recommended 0w30!! I have been using Castrol 5w30 A5/B5 bought from my local Volvo dealer and recommended for Ford/Volvo.
