osullivant Senior Member Last Online: Mar 25th, 2024 23:05 Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: cork	taking ECM apart Anyone know how to expose the underside of the board in a 2006 185bhp xc90 ECM. I already cleaned off corrossion from the topside seemingly caused by moisture. this reesolved some issues. I still have unexplainable faults and I want to discount Corrosion on the underside of the board, I had the top off easily enough but the board seems bonded or perhaps just stuck in the metal casing. I really do not want tto break it but neither do I want to send it off to an Expert if it is possible that I could at least discount or confirm obvious damage.... tony.
