Our V40 has the de-badge option from factory. However, only the D4 was removed. The model name is still on there. Personally I prefer to de-badge cars as it gives a nice clean look at the rear, if it suits the car.

Sorry to go a little off piste but my god the orange peel on the boot of the BMW in comparison with the Volvo! Madness.

It looks decent without the badging I must admit, strange we don't have such an option in the UK from Volvo (many other manufacturers do).

Such a shame that you cannot resolve that on BMW's (owing to it being in the primer layer, well without total respray).

I'd always assume that anyone with a 3 series BMW lacking a badge is hiding the 316d engine...

Really don't see the point personally.

If it was mine all the badges would be gone,

I've debadged every car i've had and removed all window stickers aswell
