Whilst I appreciate This could be a sticky I did post entry re photo competition part of the event earlier this month. It is very easy to find out about the event which was added to the Calendar on the forum last year and has been updated as and when required. The event has also been advertised in the last 4 editions of Volvon Driver.
All VOC events that are notified to me are added to the calendar. I also include other events that may be relevant to members.
I re-iterate if you are organising an event or know of an event that may be of interest to club members Please contact me on 02392 615081 or email me at nigel.ayling@ntlworld.com The only restriction being that club events must not be arranged so that they clash with the National Rally and they should not clash with the Northern/ Southern BKV's or other club events. If you check the events calendar and check with me you will be able to see any clashes.

A poor response on this thread thus far.

Come on people, who's coming (and in what) to the National - only a few weeks away now ?

I was hoping to do something special...but numbers count.

I would guess a lot of those who are planning on going will be club members who have already booked. On most forums I have been on there is normally a buzz running up to events as the majority of those on there are club members as well.
That is very definately not the case here, which is a shame.

seriously though, I was merely asking who was coming, not who wasn't! I also appreciate many VOC members that do not inhabit this forum have already made their decisions.

But one would hope for some support for the VOCs premier event, from both VOC members on here, and forum members.

Steve - whilst I agree re members, non-members with Volvo's are made very welcome at the BKVs and are of course encouraged to join, but not compulsory. They just park out of the judging patch.
As far as I know it only means non-members cannot put their cars in for judging. Of course, being a member doesn't mean ones car is automatically judged - its optional, I've never entered my 164, I just put it in the line-up to boost the attendance records of that model.
