940SE Volvo Car alarm
I have just bought a 940 SE nad the previous owner did not have the remote for the alarm. This has bocome a problem as this morning when I opened the car the alarm went off and has immobilised the car.
Is there a way to reset the alarm without the remote? |

RE: 940SE Volvo Car alarm
How did you open the car? With the key? You should find the alarm box up under the dash in righthand corner Try unplugging it and then replugging it in after a few minutes. The fob should be grey, rectangular with either one or two buttons. Try a search on eBay under cars-accessories-Volvo. Some of the eBay shop operators have them or narrow down the search to accessories-alarm-keyfobs. You may be lucky. If you need a manual for the VolvoGuard alarm which should have stickers on the driver's and passenger's door windows declaring thus then go to this website and download the manual. http://members.aol.com/migrator/migr...olvoguardc.htm All the best, Peter. |
