Exhaust - Opinions please
It's time to replace the exhaust on my 940 hpt 96 model (yr 95 reg)
I've always bought genuine for my old 240 GLT (266,000 mls) lasting 3-4 years usually I would appreciate comments on alternatives, maybe stainless as we intend to keep this for a while. The Cat has taken a few swipes over the years by the looks of things and is hanging slightly low from the front (from Turbo) pipe. In my experience the new system may stress the old cat joint and so it may be worth doing the lot. Plus on the MOT it only just got under the required emmissions of 0.3% Your opinions will be gratefully received and considered so don't hold back TTFN Richard Clark |

RE: Exhaust - Opinions please
Re just under 0.3%, try new Lambda sensor. First check if the On-Board diagonastic system has any faults. Be careful of wire routing to the connection on the bulkhead to keep clear of exhaust pipe as its higher on turbos.
