Timing & Aux Belts Change
Hi all,
I'm about to grasp the nettle and change these two belts plus the tensioners and whatnot. I was just wondering, given that the degree of difficulty in undertaking this job varies considerably between various makes and models of car, whereabouts in the grand scheme of things does the D5 engine sit in terms of its comparative difficulty with other comparable engines when it comes to changing these belts? And are there any steps in the procedure that can be particularly tricky or problematic? Thanks (I should mention that in my case it's a V70 MkIII which has the engine mounted transversely.) |

This looks like it may have been quite useful for your quest, but since PhotoBucket decided to play silly buggers, all the pictures have been lost.
