Burnley Classic Car Show, August - VOC Presence?

Every August, the Rotary Club of Burnley and Pendle & District Rover Club organise a classic ar show at Towneley Hall, Burnley.

It isn't just Rovers, and many car clubs have displays there. However, so far I don't think that there's been a VOC presence.

Would anybody be interested in perhaps getting a display going for this year's show? I'd be willing to act as go-between if there's any interest.

Sounds like a good place to have a NW meet. Is there any entry requirements, pre registration or just turn up?

TBH I'm not absolutely sure as far as the showing goes - but lots of different marque clubs have stands there, like MG, Ford Cosworth, Jaguar, etc., etc., so I thought that it might add to the interest if Volvo was represented.

The exhibits aren't always classics either - just well presented and turned out vehicles.

thats a good idea, i thought of this when we had a meet in preston last september, and people were saying we should meet again, but wasn't sure what would be involed in organising it . keep us posted.
