Hi, can anyone tell me if the crankshaft pully is keyed, friction held or held by the 4 allen bolts, thanks

it has a key which is part of the sprocket

yep, but you need to remove the 4 allen keys and the big centre bolt

I found that there is a small pip on it that locates in a hole in the cambelt sprocket, but it seemed to me that it was the centre bolt and the 4 allen screws that actually hold it in place.
Judging by the design of the bottom pulley I'm guessing it acts much like a dual mass flywheel. Its a metal rubber metal composite affair.

the pip is there just so you get the sprocket sitting in the right place .if you look at the 4 holes they are off center the sprocket can only go on one way .
