My 2nd 240!
Hi folks. Here I am again!
Had a 240 1992 2.0 and sold it in 2016. It probably was the worse 240 existing.spent thousands on it and in the end the head gasket blown. After the sad episode I decided to sell it and take time to find one with proper spec and in good condition. After 2 Years I found the 240 I was looking for: 1990 reg. b200E engine. Estate Red. Air con, R16 gas Leather interior black. LPG fitted. full body respray. No sign of welding. No rust at all. 3rd stop, remote control to open and close the car. |

Looks very good.
I don't know if remote central locking was ever a Volvo factory option for the 240, but very nice to have.

It's in very good condition. I didn't pick it up yet. More photos will follow.
The remote central locking was an aftermarket optional. The previous owner Aldo upgraded the Aricon to the new regulation. |

Hi, the car originally is from Bergamo as you said. Sold to a folk of Naples. The car spent the last few years in Naples where I bought it.

Aircon! Wow. I bought an early 240 with AC fitted to remove and fit in my 240 Torslander years ago. Too much was different between the two cars so I abandoned the idea.

Aircon pretty useful if driving in the Continent during the Summer.
It works like you expect from a Volvo: It's North Pole freezing in the car. The downside is additional 10BHP lost on the way... steady 70mph on motorway, more it is difficult. |
