Whats better than a Phase One S40 T4?
When I say Better I mean. Faster, as reliable possibly newer?
I Love my T4 best car I have ever owned. I have had her 6 yrs and now I fancy a change? My experience with this Volvo, makes me want another one. It's bombproof. What do you all recommend and why, remembering I am used to 200bhp. Thanks Lee |

Depends what you want to pay really, decent 850s are become few and far between, V70 P1 also the same, if you want something a little quicker and newer I'd be looking at the P2 V70 S60R, plenty of threads on here on what to look out for, but a well sorted one which fetch strong money but once you've been in a 5pot you won't want to go back to your T4 (quick as they are)

My only Volvo experience is the V50 T5 that I have now. It’s an auto but still quick. 5 cyl turbo with 230bhp.
Do you want to continue with Volvo, or move to another marque? |

Hello, as you have a saloon I imagine your a fan, so I’d consider a S70 T5. There’s a few on EBay, and one in grey which is an ex police car, so I imagine it would be tuned. There’s a red one on autotrader, but is very basic and doesn’t even look like a T5. The S70 T5 has more power than a 850 T5 from 225 to 240 BHP. The S70 is also more modern inside, but the 850 is still the same car really. Or if you’d spend a little more there’s a S70R in silver on autotrader, these cars a really rare and don’t come up often and also can be an investment for the future. It’s a Manual with 250 BHP and a LSD.
Hope this helps |

My Volvo has been so reliable and cheap to maintain, I would be more wary of something else. Unless you could recommend a car with a similar track record?
