Default inner cv joints - interchangeable?

Hi,

I think I have finally worked out why there is engine movement despite relacing all 4 engine mounts; it appears to be an inner cv joint thats worn.

The problem is that I do not know if its the left (nearside) or the right joint thats gone. If I obtain one that is for the left, but afterwards find out that it is actually the right one that needs replacing, will the left cv joint work on the right?

Thanks,

Donal.

Off the top of my head, they should work, only differences may be the length of the actual shafts, but the joints should be the same.

Easy way to check is to obtain the part numbers for your inner CV joint for the left and right sides, if they are the same then its OK.
