my wife had a xantia with the same problem i was told to use baby oil which i rubbed into the lenses what a diference you should try it if it doesnt work you can illimanate oil based products good luck gary

I gave them a coat of yacht varnish. Beautiful glossy finish with little or no noticeable brushmarks. Unfortuneately it rained really heavily the next day and spoiled the finish. Next hot sunny day (I could be waiting a while) I will rub them down lightly and give them another coat.
