rear engine mount failure?
Hi,
Hope someone can give me some advice. Engine rocks when I lift my foot off the accelerator. This is particularly noticeable a low speed. I replaced the mount at the front of the gearbox and also the top mount. No difference. Brought it to a mechanic who thinks its the rear mount. Now, I still have the old front gearbox mount - which is probably ok. I plan on asking the mechanic replace the rear mount using this. Apparently they are the same. (A new one costs €160) What do you reckon? Also, how can you tell if these liquid filled mounts are broken? Thanks. |

If your 2.0 10v mount is a match for the 2.0 20v then I am breaking one so I could help you out and save you many £££'s!
