  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Almost certainly. An aircon compressor is not a trivial component and takes about 4 to 5 hp when engaged. At the back the only drive option would be a substantial electric motor. The size, weight and extra mechanical complexity make it unlikely.

What it does have is a seperate HVAC unit consisting of control panel, evaporator nozzle and matrix and an air blending unit for heat as well in the back, all plumbed into the increased capacity cooling and heating lines from the front.

Four zone systems are very common in hot countries and especially where cars are expected to be chauffeur driven.
