I was speaking from experience
My loan car for the day last service..although this may have been 200hp+ as it goes like stink... 23mpg to boot!

Any remap that increases boost pressure will take its toll more quickly on boost affected parts.....

I had to replace my IC this month at 85k miles. Using VIDA I can see that the Polestar map makes a LOT of boost.

Heard of many a standard car failing before this so..................

Better put one in the budget 77K and rising !

Still worth it though!!

Why not just fit an uprated IC when one goes? http://www.andysautosport.com/interc...xc90/2005.html

They're in the US, but are available in the UK.

Not my personal experience no but I only have a bog standard D5 which is fine for me and still on its original i/c.
They do go on unmolested cars too but at least 50k miles later and it's understandable because all Polestar does is increase "things" but you get no uprated pipework.
It's like going to the gym and drinking protein shakes but not updating your wardrobe....... your shirts and trousers are going to split.

That car is 200bhp as std, so Polestar should see what, 240?
