Hello Neon,
Did your car come with a central screen protector?
I asked about this a couple of weeks ago and my dealer told me that Volvo had stopped including them, because they had changed the glass for the Sensus display screen.

Hi, no it didn't, but the dealer said he would get me one if I wanted. I bought some off Ebay anyway ready, but not put on yet. All I received was the screen cleaning cloth and leather wipes. I have cleaned the screen 4 times already as it shows every finger print, much like an Ipad, but with the angle it is positioned at it shows even more.

I fitted a matt screen protector as these don't show up fingerprints unlike the gloss versions. The only downside is a slight reduction in contrast but I prefer that to a sea of fingerprints and smudges.

I'm sceptical that Volvo have improved the screen and that's why you no longer get a protector. I suspect it's a money saving move.

Cynical? Me?

Maybe, but they are pennies. I have the matt one to fit too.

Mine is a Sept 2017 and I got a Volvo screen protector and Volvo micofibre. The screen protector was in the handbook case. After 3 days without it fitted I decided to install it and the screen is far easier to keep clean. The gloss is a finger print magnet! All I need now is some protector for the surround!

yeah even the improved screen would need a screen protector I guess.
Customers in the USA still get the protectors with the new car. (from the swedespeed forum)

It's due to be delivered to the dealer this Thursday so I may be able to pick it up at the weekend or early next week.
