I know exactly what you mean, you are basically selling what is known as a reliable car, for an unknown quantity, but we do have a 3 year warranty to fall back on.

Just spent a glorious week motoring in France, the last in my current XC60 before the new one arrives. Like both of you it has never needed any attention since new and I hope I am doing the right thing with the change. It has become more like a friend than a car and the SatNav voice one of the family. She knows our regular coffee stops on our regular routes in England and France and adds these to the itinerary on every journey.
