The cam belt is not due until 2022 or until you have done 108000 miles ..

You realise all that work is going to be around £2000 .., why do you want the EGR Cleaned , that alone will be around £500

Had all that done on my XC70 recently (except EGR cleaning).

Dealer quoted £840, had it done at an Indie for £585.

I actually wish I'd had it done at a dealer now, they did a good job on the service but had an issue with the courtesy car, my car was not valeted and I don't get the Volvo assist. That and a few other things, the extra £250 would have been worth it.

The swirl throttle job alone is £750 at a dealer , + the gearbox oil change + the cambelt etc + EGR dismantle and clean. no way can you get all that for £840 if you can they would be booked up for years ..

Dealers can provide value over Indies, especially when things don't go smoothly at the Indie.
A big Dealer has heavyweight power behind them with tools, experience and factory support, as well as reputation they don't want to lose

My apologies Clan I'd missed the last two lines - the work I had done was just the 10 year/108k service with the belts etc.
