Missing Apps
Apologies if this has been discussed before, I couldn't find a thread for this... I do not have the Volvo on Call (VoC), but I should apparently be able to tether my mobile phone to the car so the car uses my mobile network. This would allow me to use Apps like Send to Car and Glympse. My phone connects ok and I can browse the Internet, but when I bring up the Apps list I can only see TuneIn. No other Apps are available and the dealer seems to be at a loss to explain why this is. They had my car last week and they seem to have re installed the firmware, but this has not corrected the problem. I would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced similar or been able to fix this? The dealer are apparently quizzing Volvo hq for an answer. I will update the thread when they get back to me.

There is a specific Sensus Connect update that allows the additional apps to appear, it came out towards the end of last year I think? It doesn't appear on the standard Sensus updates the dealers do, it's a specific upgrade they have to apply, and some charge for. Once it's done the apps usually appear after about 24hrs.

I've just taken delivery of a MY2015 XC60 D5 Nav (no On-Call) and AFAIK I do have the Sensus upgrade (although I can't see any info screen on the system which shows a version number or code, does anyone know if there is such a screen).
FYI, I've attached some photos of what I apps I can see on my system and also the Internet setting screen showing the Bluetooth & Wi-Fi options. I've also attached the Nav version which I think is out-of-date (the dealer promised to update everything, Sensus+Nav before I collected the car, but I don't think they have)..... Now I have a 17Gb+ download on my crappy broadband :-( I also wonder what's actually in the Nav download, is it just map data, or improvements to the Nav app or other stuff too (I noticed that the screenshots on the Volvo website says "Map & Gracenote...." and the PC/Mac app says "Sensus Update" when downloading... All very confusing.

The map update is just newer maps, no changes to the nav system, those come from dealer-applied Sensus Connect updates.

I have had the car since early March. It is a MY15. The dealer is looking at the car next week.

All Fixed
Great News! The dealer has fixed this. An update was required which was different to the one indicated by andymcp, but credit to the dealership for chasing it down for me.
