Sanded the 131 panels down, good clean and then three coats of epoxy primer. Sealed up all around my roller door so the extract fans worked a lot better and fisheyes are all gone. Happy camper. Now need to see if they need some high build or will flat down okay with the epoxy.

Started flatting the boot lid, it's about 90% there. Will guide coat it again and DA it, then see how it is. Hopefully then a coat or two of epoxy to seal it, then high build. Good to have started the bodywork.

Put the door in tonight but need to get it fitting better. Apparently a common issue is the drip rail is pulled down at the B pillar causing a tight gap there with the top of the door. I'll have a look if I can correct that when over on Friday. I have a night out on Thursday so hopefully I make it on Friday. :-)

I hope the body shell didn't sag a bit during its time on the spit. Do you have any side view pics so that you can compare the door fit? What is the other side like?

No. They pull down at the B pillar when welded from new. The shell hasn't sagged from the spit, weighs very little and would be very obvious if it did.

Old pics, always had that high at the back top.

Bit more playing about today improving the OS drip rail. It's quite a bit better than it was. It flared upwards at the top front bend so made the door fit look even worse. The NS door is a lot tighter fit. Still needs a little tweak and then that will do. Got the OS wing on. Had a Christmas night out last night and hit my finger with a mallet and split the nail. Blood on the door as proof. 🤣

Spent quite a bit of time getting the top rear of the NS wing decent and then moved onto the front panel. It's not too bad and will do for now. Didn’t get final pics unfortunately.

Started bodywork on the boot lid. Will flat the underneath next and then give it all a coat of epoxy and then the top a couple of coats. Looks pretty flat so far.

I gave the boot lid a coat of epoxy and then two good coats of high build. More sanding next.
