Try turning the ignition off, wait for 10 seconds or so then turn on again (no pedals) as this might clear the comm error.

Maybe try - ignition on - gear in park - handbrake off. Thats the procedure I used with Vida.

Cheers guys.
Got in touch with autel seller on ebay and he sent me a uk spec v1.08 of software and it's working no problem. Great seller and very high customer service. And mashine cost me £32 so no bad. Also havesoftware to do VAG, merc and ford so very useful. Now need to order new discs and change them hehe... |

MaxiEST201 v1.08 Software
Help!!!!
I need of the v1.08 software for the Autel MaxiEST201. Does anyone have the .dag and .AUT files? I think Lukas430000 has it! It would be so helpful if someone could send me the file so i can upload them as i only have v1.03 and it doesn't have volvo  Thank you in advance for your help! David Newis |

hi im new to this forum and im trying to keep costs down and replace my own brake pads my friend has an est 201 epb tool but its only version 1.03 ,any ideas where i would get the v1.08 update i have tried the autel website but had no joy.

est 201 update
emailed autel today and they got back to me within the hour,cant recommend them enough autel-tech.com,they emailed me the latest software for the epb tool ,got my pads changed no hassle €65 labour saved happy days

Good to hear that. I had the same with them. Also great customer service. My epb device was from ebay and they still provided the software for it.
