Using this roof box was an absolute pleasure! First off it looks great on the car. Sleek, actually enhances the looks of the car. Designed by Volvo makes a HUGE difference in ease of use, quick application and especially performance. Its the one roof box that I can honestly say you hardly notice its on the car with or without a full load. Fuel economy was so similar with it on and off I was amazed. Its quiet! When mounted properly, you can fill it to max weight and the noise is minimal. On our car we had this at max weight and cruised at 90mph all day and car handles as normal. Its stunning!
The tray is shallow so loading is a snap. As good as it looks and its overall utility we quickly arrived at the opinion that we would have just left it in place on the car.
