Default Stainless Steel Exhaust (standard)

I have recently purchased (yet to be fitted) a stainless steel exhaust system from one of the Swedish quality suppliers for my rebuilt B18B motor. The system is standard design with dual downpipes from original manifold, 2” to muffler and resonator then 1 3/4 “ from resonator to tailpipe in keeping stock standard.
In hindsight I’m not sure if I have made the correct decision as I am thinking I should have gone with a full 2” system or dual tail pipes as fitted to the P1800. Any advice would be really appreciated regarding sacrificing performance considering the reduced diameter of the final section of the system.

The original system is very restrictive for the B18 and B20 engines. When running unleaded and driving them hard expect to melt manifold gaskets and spark plugs fairly often. Fitting a free flowing bigger bore system really ups the power and solves the melting everything issue
