Default 2001 V70 -Keep / Sell / Give away???

We are replacing the trust family workhorse in the next couple months. We have had our V70 2001 for 3 years. It's a x-reg 2.4 170 SE auto with a full Volvo service history. It's got 105k and everything is working fine.

The only issue is that it got hit in a car park about 12 months ago on the near aide rear door and quarter. Technicallly the costs of fixing that makes the car a write-off. The door and window works fine so I've not botherd fixing it.

So what do we do with it when the new one arrives? Is it sellable given the damage? Or shall I just shove it on eBay and see what happens? Seems a shame given the car is in really good nick apart from the back corner.

Thoughts?

Thanks. J.

If the car has tax and mot it will be worth selling, someone will be looking for a cheap runabout somewhere.

Question advertise it on the forum

sell it on the forum or at least give first option to forum members, you could put the details on now,let any forum member interested have a look in the understanding its not being replaced for a few months.

Thanks for the advice and the offers! I reckon our new wheels will come in January so will do something then.

Is one car I've got really attached to for some reason.

For those interested it is taxed and tested till march '12 when the next service is due. It has two sets of mettis rims (one with winter tyres - on the car now) with roof rails, dog guard etc.

Thank again.
