Default Volvo specialist in Cheshire?

Hi
Just recently joined due to becoming a xc60 owner, I was just wondering if anyone can give me some advice, I am after a Volvo specialist in the Cheshire area, I live in Northwich which is about 15 miles from Chester if that helps.
I have done some research and I found a few like Cheshire auto services, Greg Watson and another one called hallmark, but I don't know which one comes more recommend?
The reason I am asking this is the car is due for a service a 108000 miles service so it will need a cambelt etc.... Rybrook in Chester was quoting me £880!!

Many thanks for any help

Deeside Motor Centre on, well, Deeside.

Not the cheapest about but they know Volvos inside out and are certainly cheaper than main dealers.

Having said that, £880 for the 108k service isn't bad at all. I'm sure Rybrook quoted me £1,100 for my V70 T5 about 3 years ago.

Anyway, call Deeside Motor Centre and get a price. I'm sure they'll be cheaper than rybrook and they're good, honest and trustworthy.

I'm curious. What work is undertaken for 108,000 miles at £880?

Main thing is the timing belt and, I think, aux belts.

I guess it's the same for a Diesel as it is for a petrol in that respect.

On the petrol it's also pretty much every other service item. Oil, filters, plugs, coolant etc.

Not sure if it's the same for diesels for the usual service items.

yes, a while ago a member mentioned asking them about a transmission flush , he wasn't impressed if I remember by their response and didn't use them, not heard about them since , there's an indi in south-port that gets good reviews, may be a bit far for you though

I've also realised unless you want software updates ( dealer only ) any good garage with Bosch diagnostics is perfectly adequate , a couple of years ago I went to a recommended " specialist " in Warrington that was rubbish , never again , whereas I had a turbo hose go last week while in Aldershot so had to go to a local garage with Bosch diagnostics who did a superb job

Deeside Motor Centre can do software updates - they're updating mine when it's in for the suspension on Wednesday. I want the latest software updates on there before I take the readings for my MTE remap.
