Battery change in car remote
My dash comes up with Remote battery low so guessing it's my remote fob.
What battery does the car remote take. Can we change them ourselves. Is it as simple as what it is...changing the battery? Does the remote need to be prised open gently as dont appear to be any screws My cars the 2007 V50 Ta, Dave |

Did it, took out the blade key, unscrewed the small screw at the top & gently prised it open, swapped for a new battery & put back together....

Clan I dont suppose you know its possible to fix the blade release slider at the top do you only mine has broke, i'm using it as my spare at the minute so its not a major issue, just wouldn't mind fixing it.
