2008 Volvo XC90 high beams not functioning
I have checked high beam bulbs and fuses but lights do not come on. Low beams work fine and all other lights, excepting high beams. Any advice to correct problem appreciated.

Make sure you have the light switch in the headlight-on position

2008 Volvo XC90 high beams don't work (bulbs and fuses ok),
Thanks 4x4 for reply. Yes, I have tried high beams with switch in the position you recommended (light switch in the vertical position), but no high beam lights come on (the two inside front lights of each lamp housing).
In fact, my low beams (the outside front lights) come on when the light switch is in the "O" position, AND when it is in the Vertical position. With light switch in both of these positions (vertical and horizontal) --my low beams come on -- and if I move the left-side steering wheel lever to get high beam, I only get the blue (high beam) indicator light to come on in the panel, but the high beams (the two inside front lights) don't come on. Really strange. Last edited by IainMacGill; Oct 22nd, 2018 at 15:38. |
