I think it's the same for all thirsty cars - bottom's fallen out of the market... buyers rule supreme, thanks to the current petrol prices.
T4s and T5s are affected pretty badly. I've got three at the moment

With all due respect mate, it's because you want too much money for it. You're either going to have to hold onto it and enjoy the car or bend over and let the used car market do to you what it's doing to anyone with a performance car at the moment

There is a simple reason your car wont sell you just wont admit you have outpriced it out of the market. Even when the market was better it wouldnt have been worth what you are asking. The autotrader this week has a 2003 T4 with 90k(admittededly ex police but thats a good sign of no expense spared maintenance) for under £2k. There are loads of T4s on there that are much better priced and with low mileage. I think given what ive seen today you need to come down to £2k to shift it and tbh you will be lucky if you shift it then, most people looking for T4s look for manual cars that havent been chipped. One things for sure the longer you keep it the more its going to loose, so either out it now for what you can get or drive it into the ground.
Also as ive said before phone some of the reasonable priced cars on the trader up and see if they have sold. I reckon alot of them will still be for sale. |
