thinking about selling up

well im thinking about selling my beloved 740

reason - im buying a motorbike and i dont need two cars and a bike.

just awnted to know if anyone was interested!

its a 1986 GL in very very good condition

grey cloth interior, 2 owners from new - first one for 19.5 of its 20 years!

its got the B230 carb engine with 5 real gears instead of this overdrive toss.

the only things that need doing is the drivers heated seat packed up and the rear passenger tailight is bost. but i'd replace that before sale anyway

its got mot till september this year and tax till the end of july

ive just done 6,500 miles since the end of november without any hicuups whatsoever.

it had its oil change yesterday and has had done every 5,000 miles from new

the paint is like glass! its soooooo clean and smooth, overall the car has really been looked after and driven like a hearse, (its only on its 3rd set of tires from new!!!!)

its done 171,500 miles from new.

but basically, i dont need a car this big anymore, and will be sad to see it go, i paid £550 for it and changed the cambelt, power steering belt, and twin fan belts when i got it, all the plugs have been changed and it runs like a dream!

i'd be looking for offers around £400, any interest?!

I could well be interested, but depends on where in the country you are.
I'm assuming its a saloon?

Can you let me have more information if you are not TOO far from Norfolk.

its an estate and im in wolverhampton, bout 5 mins from J11 of the M6
