Scotland: - Inverness Mini Meet 30/03/2008

Hi Everyone,

Could I ask all attending to confirm below.

I would like to attend but can't justify the cost (it's a 520 mile round trip) if there will be only 2 or 3 there.

We can discuss how we want the section to progress from here on following Locky's resignation.

Simon, you beat me to it, I was going to post a similar message. Yes, I intend to go to Inverness if there is going to be a reasonable turnout, and we could discuss where the section should go, now that we no longer have 'Locky'.
Hope to see you and a good turnout of Volvo owners there, all those that still intend to come please post and let us know.

Can I be one of the 1st to wish all the Scottish section the very best for future meets . Locky did a fantastic job while he was the club sec in that area , like he used to say " Its you who makes the Scottish section what it is "

I hope you all find a new person to represent the scottish section , and hope you all continue to have great meets ! !

got car back so will be there, if anyone wants a cheap v70 ph1 rear light sets let me know and i will bring along to meet,regards malcolmk

I will not be attending this meet as we will be going away in the caravan for our first outing of the year for a weeks holiday. Hope to catch up with everyone later on in the year.

Inverness meet was a bit of a non starter with only three cars appearing, myself, Malcolmk, and another lady, who's name has escaped me.
Are we going to try and have a Scottish Section ?, is there anyone willing to take the lead ?

Hi Kevin

I couldn't commit to the journey on the off chance and with the forum down was unable to communicate.

The next meet following the existing format will be Gretna then Strathclyde Park.

I will arrange the Gretna meet and see where we go from there.
