K cam, new.
Hello,
I've got a K cam that I bought from Brookhouse a year ago sat atop my wardrobe..I don't need it anymore as my car now has a motor with one already in it. Very nice cam it is too...a major step up from my old A cam. It's the cam only, perfect nick, still in box. I'd like £45 for it please. Or I'd swap it for a fi head and plenum. I'm in Bristol, I can post but it won't be all that cheap I shouldn't think, dunno.

Hi. Do you have the tappet setting with this cam? What would postage to SE288QP, London be. Ta, Kassie

It's the cam only. I don't have the followers/tappets. postage would probably be a tenner, dunno, can find out.

K-Cam
Would the K-Cam give an advantage over the standard B20E cam?

I always understood that the D was the fuel injection cam, or was that only for the earlier injected cars, with the K for the later ones?

D cam with D-Jet and K cam with K-Jet. This maybe conveniently coincidental. On paper there's very little difference between them. K is sometimes called an emissions cam, maybe because the initial opening and final closing is a bit "softer"/better controlled, compared to the D. This also apparently makes the valve gear work a bit smoother as it stops/starts, which reduces wear, always a good thing.
