You actually need only one canbus and if You change it the glow will go away. I had an original one and put it in...guess what? Glow vanished...so i have now three LED and one yellow....

So I have a much loved old Volvo V70 '53 plate (2003) and I thought I'd change the internal lights to LEDs to save some battery life.

I've replaced the bulb in the boot headlining. like you and it's nice and bright, when the boot lid is opened. All good.
Note: I had to get the bulb around the right way +/- which obvs took two attempts :-)

But the boot light now stays on dimly whilst the engine is on (and I'm driving). Does that happen to you? In a way that's not a bad thing, but it's put me off changing all the bulbs for LEDs.

What's going on? Will I be loading yup the car circuit when driving more than I should,...not quite Blackpool illuminations but still,...

I had the same issue when I swapped my interior light bulbs for LEDs. Got kind of used to the dim glow at night, but then one bulb failed, I replaced it with a new (identical, but brand new) Ring one and the glowing stopped. Now all go out properly. Obviously a better CANBUS spoofing circuit in the most recent bulbs.

Default Useful YouTube Clip

This youtube clip was sent to me by the bulb supplier, most helpful. It also appears that the bulbs I have are Canbus so they are sending a couple of resistors to help solve the problem
