Default 940 Estate deep dish steelies

Hi everyone

I used to have a Capri with dished Weller steel wheels fitted and I'd love to recreate the look on my 940 Estate (1997).

What are my options for dished steelies? Width, PCD, ET etc?

There are none.

Spacer adaptors are probably your best bet!

Anything can be made.
5x108 steels, Jag/Ford/Citroen to name a few, centres can be cut out and welded into an offset of your choice. Speak to Essex Steel Wheels, reputable company.
Just bare in mind they are not actually legal to use on the road.

Is this the sort of thing you're looking for? A set of hubcentric adaptors to change the PCD and jobs a good'un!

They're the wrong PCD but the right offset although about an inch too wide so a 15-20mm hubcentric adaptor would probably work well. If not, i'm sure if you're prepared to wait a while, the right PCD and offset wheels will come up.

I think he was kind of looking for an off the shelf option.

There's a company in america that does custom steelies in 5x108 bolt pattern. I think they're called Corsa Steels?

Fake edit, yep they are!

Citroen C6 steel in 17" flavour fit directly on, only need one 5mm spacer on the front to clear the struts, back are fine. You could band them an inch or two on the front and back - I would have gone 1 inch on the front and 2 on the back if I had kept my steel wheels.
If you lower the car you'll need an adjustable panhard bar to centre the rear axle again to ensure wider wheels fit with no rubbing on one or both sides. Mine were 7j and didn't rub but I only lowered 40mm.
Peugeot 17" steels also fit but probably need spacers.
If you were getting a company to band the wheels you could just get the centres moved instead (or as well as the banding) which would eliminate the need for expensive hubcentric spacers - thats what I would do.

Rubbish. Stop repeating this nonsense that is peddled around forums time and time again.

Stuff that falls apart won't pass an MOT and therefore might be dangerous is "illegal" but banded steels in themselves are not illegal AT ALL. As long they are done properly by someone who knows what they are doing, e.g. straight and true with good welding there will be no problems.
