When I said it had only 22,000 miles and the plugs should be like new the response was that to us it’s a 4 year old car and the mileage is irrelevant to the service required. Hence the need to change all the filters again at a total cost of £600+. I politely declined their kind offer and opted for the oil service only for just over £200.

The plugs are 72000 miles I believe. which could be the case with the 72000/4th year service you are having. They should have flexibility with low mileage cases and advise you about the Volvo Essential Service...which is a basic service for people like you. It seems this may well have been what you had...
