Bentley Volvo Gathering Sunday June 19th East Sussex

The annual gathering at this stately home off the Eastbourne Road near Halland in East Sussex, with its car museum and wildfowl enclosures, is on June 19th despite the date error in their website when I last looked.
Free entry for VOC member-drivers, passengers and non-members at group prices. Just turn up after 10am and the gate will be opened for you to line up with lots of other Volvo's on the front lawn of this stately home.
No judging, just a friendly meet with a good raffle.
Horse-and-carriage event in an adjacent field, for your added interest.
Good weather is (practically) guaranteed!

Have just had it confirmed that the Bentley Wildfowl place has amended their website, so is now correct re the date being June 19th
however
I saw pinned up on a lamp post a notification that the annual London - Brighton cycle ride takes place on the same day! For this event they enforce lots of road closures, with only certain authorised route-crossing places. Last year Turners Hill (a village all of us from west of that route use to go to Bentley) was sort of closed due road reconstruction, so we had to re-think.
I suggest you look at your route then the cycle ride route so you can see which might be best for you to avoid delays when getting to this Volvo show.

Have had an enquiry re the post code of this location - hadn't considered those with satnavs rather than map books! Complacency rules!

It is BN8 5AF, so no excuses for not finding the place now!
