Mercedes Benz world and brooklands 9th July

9th July it is, meet around 10am at Merc world, tour of Merc world is usually about 11am and costs £4.

Hot laps (about 6 flat out laps around there track in a 585 bhp Merc with a child driving) is £30 for first person and £15 each after that so £20 each is costs are shared and totally worth it! It's the track tat features in the "classic car show" with Quentin Wilson and Jodie Kidd

Book hot laps early as they go fast and start at around 1pm

Silver arrows display team are free to watch and excellent.

There are various other things to do including old Mercedes and f1 cars on display and two cinemas showing different things, usually the Grand Prix and a virtual lap of the Isle of Man by coultard.

Brooklands is next door and £12 to get in Iirc and well worth it having Concorde (£5 extra?) and a whole host of other attractions really too much to list

This isn't anything that can be booked with either place currently, so we will be just entering as normal public, please do keep an eye out on there sites coming up to the meet, but 99% all should be well it's out 5th time to Merc world.

Both places are excellent, you can pick and choose, Merc world is a day out on its own and is free or do both but pay for brooklands.

This Saturday, looks to be a good turn out, well it's a good location

If park on the over flow carpark it's actually the old race track

It was a good day, small but select with the evolution of the v70r there and a couple of polestars.

Brooklands was excellent especially the guide bus tour if anyone is thinking of going.
