Yes, the dealer. Worth asking because it also lists the options. I have a stack of these, so wanted to double check !

They don't bother to respond to my emails anymore.

Just have to wait for call when the car comes.

I've got an order number which allows me to see the car in MyVolvo, but my experience and the consensus opinion on here seems to suggest MyVolvo is essentially useless.

Agree MyVolvo is useless, but the factory order sheet is still worth getting.

This is one of the reasons why I put car dealers in the same bracket as estate agents before you spend your money they are all over you. After you have no chance of backing out they change of course not all dealers but I have heard enough stories to put them in the same bracket as estate agents. I need the RSE installed and my dealer talks so much rubbish that I am getting fitted at another dealer.

I will say my experience of Volvo dealers has not been great they are a long way from being a premium brand for me.

Whilst shortlisting I had two very 'indifferent' experiences at two separate Audi dealers. I got the distinct impression they didn't think I was a serious customer. In one I was left waiting for nearly an hour (!) - "yes, a salesman will be with you shortly sir" - was all the receptionist could offer. Well it got rather boring waiting, but I did actually need a 1:1 conversation, so I held out. I think some 'premium dealers' rather prefer company car sales to private sales. So, the Q5 - which was on an early shortlist - rapidly fell out of contention.

Ah ha! I've just heard from the dealer. Apparently, it's "landed" and we're aiming for a Friday morning collection. :-)
