There is a problem with the Tune in app so it has been withdrawn until it is sorted out .

Also it says the Volvo On call has expired and to contact my dealer, is this normal?

Regarding the On-Call, the dealer is supposed to sit down with you before you take the car and register your details with volvo On-Call , it then becomes active , they seem to have omitted this !

Give them a ring, my car was delivered by a transport agent, who to be fair done a good handover, but wasn’t aware of VOC. A quick call to Riverside Doncaster and the corporate sales chap had me set up within the hour.

If you’ve dowloaded the app, they need your phone number and email address, they will email/ text some codes and you just follow the instructions. One of the stages was (I think) to switch off the in car SIM card and connect directly to the app on the phone for security so its directly paired to one of the controlling devices for the first time, then it all just updated and kicked in.

It needs you to complete a full journey before it all updates as the car sends all the data to the server to allow you to access it.

With the hot weather the pre-conditioning and remote start has been great, pre-condition for the time you intend to be back at the car, and remote start it when a few minutes away and the cabin is cool - great.

Ive got over my daily remote horn honking.

Does the car with an onboard SIM ?

If VoC is fitted there is an onboard 'hidden' SIM for all the VoC app functions plus SOS, etc.

However, if you want to access data for other services, eg Spotify, you have to supply your own additional SIM or tether a phone.

Yes there is a SIM you dont have access to, and another one you can supply yourself for all the streaming services, I just popped a Three data only PAYG SIM in there from mymemory.
