Been a thread end of last year the cost is main prohibitive thing but in addition you need to get the rinse through solution, plus you can only add the tiniest amount of water should it go down to minimum before it looses it's properties.

The main reason I got it is worry that one of the hoses (940 TD) might give out and despite good intentions and a sticky on the relevant section on how to rig up a low coolant level warning, it remains undone. As the stuff has a boiling point of 300 or so the system won't pressurize. I did not buy the primer stuff, just took off as many hoses as possible and left the cap loose for awhile after refilling.
Only problem is that the tic takes approx. 10L which is 2 and a bit containers at £45 a time.....

Any water molecules in the system though and it is compromised from total memory it is only 5% water it can take before it is compromised to be anything special...I personally would not of paid out £45 a pop per bottle to do it without the prep fluid. By the time I am done though it is something like £250 for the C30...

Point taken, I certainly don't know the water percentage, but there's no pressure generated when the system is hot.

Q. Can I add water to Evans Waterless Coolant?
A. Yes, but only in an emergency. Evans Waterless Coolant is completely miscible with Water, however once you exceed 5% the benefits of Evans Waterless Coolant are compromised. We recommend that as soon as possible you refill with Evans Waterless Coolant to regain its benefits.

Just looking through some of the dealers alone the coolant and prep as I thought are the wrong side of £150 for the C30.
