Default battery charge procedure

can someone just confirm the best battery charge procedure? is it charge for around 48 hours then leave overnight, then do you do the battery monitor reset before you start the car after the overnight rest?

Rick

Hi assuming that you are using a smart charger and leaving the battery in the car , just make sure the charger leads are connnected red to + ve and black to an earth point not the --ve terminal on the battery . As the battery charges it will update the battery monitor so no need for resetting
Also one of the benifits of using a smart charger is that you dont need to limit charging to 48 hrs just leave the charger on and once the battery is charged the charger will kee,p it topped up
