Perhaps, Roderick, but £975 seems a lot of brass for a motor 'just out of MOT' to me. For that money, I would be looking for a year's ticket; without one it is something of an unknown quantity. If I was selling and had confidence in the car, I would have no hesitation in putting a fresh ticket on it - make it much more saleable.

It looks nice, but I can see it would fail on handbrake lever travel and knackered Nivos by the way the rear is sagging. It has some corrosion issues to the right of the tailgate shuts too.
I'd want to pay £650 tops for it. In fact, two years ago I bought a beautiful 940 Celebration (same year as this) which just needed a cam seal and had a new ticket on it for just under £750. It's a great car for someone willing to do the work though, absolutely...just needs to come for a few shekels less
