I noticed recently that PfV have full sets of Bilstein B4 shocks for £230, that's a pretty good price for quality shocks.

Have a look at the screenshot also.
The only bad new is, that in my case they last only 2 years. They started to leak after about 50.000 km (apr. 31.000 miles).
I hope yours will last much longer.
checked that out and it looks like everything ok with the shocks ,the ones I thought I was having are an older model and the ones I have are the model before the latest ones out now

I changed my rear springs using a pair of normal screw type spring compressors but threaded them inside the spring. A bit fiddly but worked ok.

hi Dave , yes all good now , still had a bit of skitting after fitting the shocks but after re-tracking the car after the garage that fitted the new rear bushes , springs and a new toe in /out bolt and cam washer (or what ever its called ) is now great , rear tracking was out 12 degrees

So it wasn’t the dampers at all?
There’s mileage in not just changing things and then changing more things.....

Possibly, but once I got them off they were a bit worn so at least it's all new now and should last another 200000 miles
