after six months of not having the ICM working and more importantly the rear parking sensors, I finally got round to getting it repaired via Lucasz at volvodiagnostics.com who did an excellent turn around on it for me, posted on Monday and had it back on Thursday

a very happy owner once more, however in my haste to get it swapped back in I didn't bother disconnecting the battery and now have the airbag service required message (due to the climate control module being unplugged) when disconnecting the ICM.

time to dig out my old laptop and VIDA and get it cleared as I just could not get any success with the manual key reset.

Turn ignition position 1 -Press and hold the odometer reset button
Turn ignition to position 2 (continue to hold odometer reset button) -After the Service Light flashes, release the reset button.

Tip: Do not wait for the light to stop flashing. Release the reset button within 5 seconds from the beginning of flashing. this should reset the service light. you must be in t1 for the reset to work it will not reset in t2 mod
