Default Trip reset 2016 V60?!

I cannot work out how the h3ll to reset tripmeter mileage for either T1 or T2. Any pointers? And, is there a setting that enables the multimedia screen to stay on all the time instead of going black after a few seconds?

It helps us to answer if you put you model details on including year, fuel, gearbox etc in your signature so we don’t have to guess what you are talking about. It also means that you are likely to get a quicker response.

Saves you having to type it in each time you post as well.

Press and hold reset on the indicator stalk for a few seconds to reset the trip computer. It will only reset the one currently on the screen, not both at the same time. You’ll have to scroll from one to the other and repeat holding down the reset button.

I think it goes black as a screen saver. If I am right on this then there is a setting for screensaver that will need to be unticked within vehicle settings which is accessed from the Mr Car button on the centre dashboard. I’m not certain on this though

Thanks, got the rest sorted! Need to scroll through various settings and see if i can find screen save. It is a D6 Hybrid R Design although not sure how that has a bearing on the trip reset? Having some more worrying problems relating to charging which on top of the aircon compressor and less than great dealer experience i am very close to rejecting the car and returning to VAG products.

Press My Car on the dash, scroll to the bottom option sms press enter, then scroll to System Options and the screen saver is in there. Not certain it’s going to solve your issue but it’s what springs to my mind based on your description.
