Default 1.6D, cranks but won't start

Hi guys,
Looking for some advice, got 2009 S40 1.6D DrivE, out of nowhere the other morning it suddenly won't start, it cranks well but no sign of starting. Had someone out to look at it, no codes, no fuel coming out of the schrader valve on crank, no fuel at injectors on crank. He wen't away saying it's the fuel sender unit as there's no fuel reaching the engine bay, but I've been told there's no pump in the tank so it can't be that.

Anyone have any ideas? I've seen suggestions of the Fuel Pump, Fuel Pump Module & Pump Pressure Regulator, but nothing concrete. If there's an easy way I can do some process of elimination, it would be amazing.
Thanks.

EDIT: Stuck a hand pump on the exit of the fuel filter, one pump and fuel came out, so seems original diagnosis was wrong, fuel is getting to the engine bay.

Noticed some noises, here's the sounds when ignition is on:

And when ignition turned off:

Noises are normal mine makes all kinds of weird sounds. You might have sprung and air leak, apply a vacuum to the green return pipe top left engine, draw 100-200ml of diesel out and try again.

Next would be to read the fuel pressure as you crank
Next check immobiliser and to see if injectors are actually firing or not.

Have you tried start spray to get it going? If it runs then, it will eliminate injectors, high pressure pump etc.
