damaged crankshaft pully
caused by carelessness ( wrong extractor) Is it still usable 'till I find a replacement? B16

I personally wouldn't as it's likely to chew up the belt. If you have to, temporally, at least smooth out the edges that can touch the belt.

I'm with Derek on this one...in a pinch, you could use it, but the sharp edges created by fracturing would likely damage the belt...if you are going to use it, I'd look at it from the belt's "point of view" and break all the sharp edges that it would contact. Cheers |
