Default V40 Headlight Washers

When my '64 V40 was just over 3 years old, (bought new), the offside headlight washer nozzle on my V40 fell off - disappeared; fountains of water, etc. The selling dealer reluctantly replaced it. Now, a year later, the other nozzle has disappeared! This is not a coincidence, this is a design fault!! (and one of many, I hear you agree). I'm not even going to discuss it with the dealer .... well, not yet, anyway!

Has anyone else had the same problem - one or both sides?

Why do you think it's a design fault and not a manufacturing fault?
